I started walking towards the post with a scared look on my face, I could see the three ring circus in front of me, scared at my faith in front of this people, feeling their eyes burning my skin, the spotlight illuminates my face and suddenly all those burning eyes became a chill lonely tone playing in my ear.
I raised my hands, doing my presentation pose and took the first step up the rope ladder... it trembled beneath me and I could feel my fear feeling me up along my back, finally taking the last step up the platform, faking a smile as I face the spotlight on my face.
Taking my umbrella and opening it as I look at the rope in front of me, taking one big gulp and diving in with a first step.
In the middle of the rope I stand, alone and no safety net below... this is my time now, I am here all alone, not looking down on my destiny, with only one thing on my mind as I repeat softly to myself:
'I am going to be remembered for my defiant elegance when I am gone"
Taking those last steps and smiling at the spotlight as I hear for the very first time the sweet sound of the applause and the familiar tune of victory, softly whispering to myself:
"This is my time, My Defiant Elegance has arrived!"
